Article III: Governing Principles - The Covenant

Section A: Supremacy of the Covenant of Shabuwa

The seven-fold covenant of Shabuwa, as detailed in the Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek, is the supreme spiritual law of this Yawd. All members covenant to live by its principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Faith, Repentance, Set-Apartness, and Righteousness.

Section B: The Law of Consecration & The Common Treasury

We covenant to live the Law of Consecration, whereby all property, assets, and surplus resources are to be dedicated to Anokeesed for the building of the Yawd. A common treasury shall be established and managed by the Deaconesses with absolute transparency. All expenditures shall be for the common benefit of the community and meticulously recorded by the Scribes.

Section C: The Calendar, Sabbaths & Feast Days

We covenant to order our lives by the 364-day calendar of Hanok. The 7th Day Sabbath shall be strictly observed as a day of rest, worship, and spiritual instruction. All set-apart Feasts and Heads of Days shall be observed according to their seasons as ordained.

Section D: Conflict Resolution All disputes shall be resolved internally according to the principles of righteousness. Grievances will be brought before the council, who will mediate with prayer and according to the scriptures, seeking reconciliation and forgiveness. There shall be no resorting to external legal systems for internal community matters.

Article IV: Temporal Affairs & Operations

Section A: Land and Property

All land and significant property acquired for the purpose of the Yawd shall be legally held in the name of the established community Trust or legal entity, not by individuals.

This is to ensure its preservation for the perpetual use of the Yawd.

Section B: Work and Self-Sufficiency

We commit to a lifestyle of diligent work and striving for common self-sufficiency. All members will contribute their skills and labor to the common good, focusing on sustainable agriculture, building, and other essential tasks. The fruits of all labor belong to the common treasury.

Section C: Education

The education of our children is a primary responsibility. The curriculum will be centered on the qodesh scriptures, the principles of the covenant, and the development of practical life skills necessary for a righteous and self-sufficient life.
