A script for the establishment of Yawd upon an altar consecrated on the land. 1. The Call to Gather & Opening Prayer
The family gathers at the designated altar. The Watchman (Father) leads.
Watchman: Let us gather before Anokeesed in reverence and thanksgiving.
We are here to establish a covenant and to dedicate this place and our lives to His service.
The Watchman kneels, with arms raised towards the heavens and prays aloud:
Watchman: Anokeesed, our Father, and Motsah the Lamb, our Redeemer, we come before You in humility. We have answered Your call to return to You by faith. We desire to establish a Yawd of Righteousness, to live in Your covenant, and to walk in the path of set-apartness.
Bless this community, house, my rib, and our children. Bless this land upon which we stand. May Your Eerkodeshiy dwell with us, and may this place be a refuge for the righteous and as Eden restored. We ask this in the name of Motsah the Lamb.
Family Responds: "Selah"
2. The Covenant of Shabuwa
"And these seven foundations (of Shabuwa) must be graphically described to every person preparing to take the covenant And it must all be clearly stated by them in the moment they take the Covenant of the Community. And it is not a light thing to be toyed with but a lifelong commitment." (Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek 9: 91)
The family stands. The Watchman recites each principle of the sevenfold covenant, and each member responds in unison.
Watchman: We covenant this day to live by the seven-fold covenant of Shabuwa. Refer to the Sevenfold Covenant of Shabuwa in the Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek 9:84-92 on pages 311 - 313
Watchman: To live in Love, respecting one another and forgiving freely.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To walk in Truth, being honest in all things and accepting the word of Anokeesed.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To seek Peace, resolving all conflict in righteousness and living in harmony.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To act in Faith, trusting in the promises of Anokeesed and the redemption of Motsah the Lamb.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To embrace Repentance, turning from our sins and striving daily to align our will with YAHUAH's vision of created purpose.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To pursue Set-Apartness, ordering our lives by the true calendar, Sabbaths, and Feasts, and separating ourselves from the ways of the world.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
Watchman: To establish Righteousness, living the Law of Consecration and dedicating all that we have and all that we are to the building of Zion.
Family Responds: We enter this covenant of Shabuwa.
3. The Lighting of the Lamp
The Rib (Mother) lights a lamp or candle on the altar.
Watchman: We now partake of bread and water as a sign of our covenant to live the Law of Consecration.
The Watchman breaks the bread and gives a piece to each family member, then offers the water.
All Together (as all partake): "We share bread and water in common, as a sign that we will share all things in righteousness and that none among us shall lack."
5. The Prayer of Dedication & Naming
All members hold hands or place a hand on the altar.
All Together: We dedicate this Yawd to Anokeesed, in the name of Motsah the Lamb.
We covenant to live in love, truth, and peace.
We ask for the blessing of the seven-fold covenant of Shabuwa upon this Yawd, upon this land, and upon all who gather here in righteousness.
Let this place be called the Yawd of . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . , a dwelling of set-apartness in the land of . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . All: Selah
6. The reading of the Yawd Establishment Charter
The ceremony concludes. The family now reads the Yawd Establishment Charter as a physical witness to the spiritual covenant just made.
