History of Wayward Israel
-The Great Tribulation-
“In the last days, when you are in Great Tribulation suffering all these things, you will finally return to Anokeesed your God and obey what He says to you."
(Dabariym/Deuteronomy 4:30)
The Great Tribulation is the period in time during which the Hebrew people have suffered a series of curses or tribulations which are cited in Deuteronomy 28:15-68, as a consequence of their waywardness in disobeying the covenant that Anokeesed made with our ancestors, beginning with the scattering of the Northern Kingdom of Israel (Yashar'Al) by the Assyrians, to the present.
However, there is a very important principle to recognise . . .
The curses are not expressed as "judgement" coming from Anokeesed
Our Father of Loving-kindness does not curse anyone.
Rather, curses come upon a people as a consequence of their own use of Agency in disobedience, so as to be separated from the covenant that would have brought them peace, tranquility and prosperity.
Curses arise from a broken covenant relationship.
These curses or tribulations include things such as, but are certainly not limited to:
Oppression. Captivity. Poverty. Dispossession. Separation of families.
Subjugation. Exploitation. Discrimination. Hunger. Fear. Diseases. Strife.
Scattering among the nations. Loss of True Hebrew Heritage etc.
The question therefore becomes:
Can these prophetic markers be traced through history?
Dabariym/Deuteronomy 28 describes the consequences of covenant infidelity in extraordinary detail . . .
"If you do not obey Anokeesed your God and do not carefully follow all his statutes and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you . . .
At midday you will grope about like a blind person in the dark.
You will be unsuccessful in everything you do;
day after day you will be oppressed and robbed,
with no one to rescue you . . .
Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation,
and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day,
powerless to lift a hand.
A people that you do not know will eat what your land and labor produce,
and you will have nothing but cruel oppression all your days.
The sights you see will drive you mad . . .
You will become a thing of horror,
a byword and an object of ridicule among all the peoples where Anokeesed will drive you . . .
You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity . . .
The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher,
but you will sink lower and lower.
They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them.
They will be the head, but you will be the tail . . .
All these curses will come on you.
They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed,
because you did not obey Anokeesed your God
and observe the statutes and decrees he gave you.
They will be a sign (mark) and a wonder (reminder) upon you and your descendants forever.
Because you did not serve Anokeesed your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty,
you will serve the enemies Anokeesed sends against you.
He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you...
Then Anokeesed will scatter you among all nations,
from one end of the earth to the other.
There you will worship other elohiym (gods)—elohiym (gods) of wood and stone,
which neither you nor your ancestors have known.
Among those nations you will find no repose,
no resting place for the sole of your foot.
There Anokeesed will give you an anxious mind,
eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.
You will live in constant suspense,
filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life.
In the morning you will say, “If only it were evening!”
and in the evening, “If only it were morning!”
—because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.
And Anokeesed will bring you back in ships to Egypt,
a journey that I promised that you should never make again;
and there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves,
but no one will redeem you.”
(Dabariym/Deuteronomy 28 vs 15, 25, 29, 32-34, 41, 43-48, 64-68)
They were subjected to brutal conditions, including physical abuse and forced labor, and were denied basic human dignity.
Families were separated.
Names were changed.
Communities were destroyed.
People were forcibly captured and sold as property.
Generations were born into systems designed to disconnect them from their ancestral heritage.
And as a result of all this, something even deeper occurred:
A PEOPLE LOST THE MEMORY OF WHO THEY WERE
---
"I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the memory of them to cease from among men."
(Dabariym/Deuteronomy 32:26)
Due to this Great Tribulation, the scattered wayward people of Israel (Yashar'Al) have all but forgotten their heritage and history, yet the very fact that they've experienced all these tribulations, is exactly what stands as
a witness and testament.
Whilst the resultant suffering is not in itself their identity,
the prophetic correspondence however, is very much the sign . . .
"And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever."
(Dabariym/Deuteronomy 28:45-46)
Then prophets speaking under inspiration foretold something remarkable . . .
Among the nations—in the very lands of their dispersion—the scattered wayward people of Israel (Yashar'Al) would begin to remember.
"Then when they are exiled among the nations, they will remember me.
They will recognize how hurt I am by their unfaithful hearts and lustful eyes that long for their idols. Then at last they will hate themselves for all their detestable sins.
They will know that I am Lovingkindness."
(Yehezeq'El/Ezekiel 6:9)
“The mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace (the true covenant of Abraham) be removed, says Anokeesed that has mercy upon you.”
(YashaYAHU/Isaiah 54:10)
“Speak tenderly to Jerushalam, and proclaim to her that her chastisement has been completed; her iniquity has been pardoned. For she has received from the hand of Anokeesed double for all her sins.
A voice cries out: “In the wilderness, prepare the way for Anokeesed; make a straight highway for God in the desert. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill made low; the uneven ground will become smooth, and the rugged land a plain. And the glory of Anokeesed will be revealed, and all humanity together will see it. For the mouth of Anokeesed has spoken.”
(YashaYAHU/Isaiah 40:2-5)
"'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land."
(Yehezeq'El/Ezekiel 36:25)
""Therefore, tell the exiles, 'This is what the Sovereign Anokeesed says: Although I have scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during your time in exile. Therefore say: 'This is what the Sovereign Anokeesed says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered."
(Yehezeq'El/Ezekiel 11:17)
“Anokeesed will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which Anokeesed will drive you.
There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
But if from there you seek Anokeesed your God, you will find Him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
When you are in GREAT TRIBULATION and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to Anokeesed your God and listen to His voice.
For Anokeesed your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon nor destroy you nor forget the covenant He made with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath."
(Dabariym/Deuteronomy 4:27-31)
“At that time,” declares Anokeesed, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel (Yashar’Al), and they will be my people.”
This is what Anokeesed says:
“The people who survive the chastisement (of curses) will find favor in the wilderness; I will come to give rest to (Israel) Yashar’Al.”
Anokeesed appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. I will build you up again, and you, virgin (Israel) Yashar’Al, will be rebuilt.
Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with joy.
Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samariah; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit.
There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim:
‘Come, let us go up to Zion, to Anokeesed our God.
This is what Anokeesed says:
“Sing with joy for Yaqob; shout for the foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard, and say, ‘Anokeesed, save your people, the remnant of Israel (Yashar’Al).’
See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a GREAT MULTITUDE will return here.
They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel's Father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son."
(YimreYAHU/Jeremiah 31:1-9)
"After this I looked, and there before me was a GREAT MULTITUDE that no one could count -- from every nation, people and language; standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our Aluah, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped Anokeesed, saying:
“It is so! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our Aluah for ever and ever. It is so!”
Then one of the elders asked me,
“These in white robes — who are they, and where did they come from?”
I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the Great Tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white with their kinship of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of Anokeesed and serve Him day and night in His Presence; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his Presence.
‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of *living water' (*Reproval, Repentance and Forgiveness).
‘And Anokeesed will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”
(Hazon/Revelation 7:9-17)
“Come, let us return to Anokeesed; for He has torn us, that He may heal us;
He has struck us down, and He will bind us up.
After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. Let us know; let us press on to know and (return to) Anokeesed;
His coming forth is sure as the dawn;
He will come to us as the showers, as the latter rains that water the earth.”
(HushaYAH/Hosea 6:3)
“Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek Anokeesed, that He may come and rain righteousness upon you.”
(HushaYAH/Hosea 10:12)
“Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what Anokeesed says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my set-apart Name [I am Lovingkindness], which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.
I will show the set-apartness of my Great Name [I am Lovingkindness], which has been profaned among the nations, the Name [I am Lovingkindness] you have profaned among them.
Then the nations will know that I am Lovingkindness,
declares the Sovereign Anokeesed,
when I am proved set-apart through you before their eyes.
“‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws [Jeshurun].
Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you.
I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine.
Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices.
